Still He will come (Habbakuk 2:3)

“For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end — it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.”

In a letter one of my close family members wrote to me before they died, this was written – “When people talk of life not being a bed of roses, actually I think they have it wrong. I think it is very apt – the beauty, perfume, colour, design and perfection but they also come with all the thorns and prickles as well”

This piece speaks to the the tension of living in the midst of the roses with all the wonderful and terrible things while living in the assurance of salvation and the return of Jesus the King to make all things new.
